It's been a while since I updated this page, so here's current status as of 19th February 2022. More detail and how we got here can be found in the Progress Blog. After nearly 10 months work bringing the 747-200 cockpit to Air Manager Phase One of this process is just about complete. With the exception of a some instrument flags, a handful of annunciators, nav selector switches and the glareshield wing panels (I forgot about them until I was writing this!) everything in front of, between or above the pilots is ready and functioning, at least until Felis starts adding failure modes. I've decided (at least for the time-being) not to model the Flight Engineer's panel, but instead am developing the "Virtual Flight Engineer" which handles the F/E's tasks and duties and frees you up as pilot to worry about driving the airplane. More information on Air Manager can be found at the Siminnovations website. Check them out, it's one of the most capable yet unknown sim addons, and in 40 years of flight simming Air Manager is the one piece of software that's given me by far the most value for money.
