Still a Work In Progress, but the aim is that this stand-alone gauge will do exactly what it says on the tin. For some insight into the philosophy behind this check out my waffle in the third post here. Virtual Flight Engineer Download linkFor this gauge to work (pending availability of writable datarefs) you will need to: 1. Set chocks, connect the GPU and select the INS Quick Align function through the in-cockpit EBF/tablet BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE. Removal of chocks and disconnect of GPU prior to engine start/taxy MUST also be done through the EFB/tablet. I know other folk have requested the appropriate datarefs from Felis so hopefully we can correct this. 2. Destination airport altitude and QNH need to be entered directly into the Felis F/E panel. I will update this gauge so you can enter that data via Air Manager. 3. Aircraft Gross Weight needs to be entered directly into the Felis F/E panel (fuel is automatically entered). That's a limitation of lack of dataref. If/when better definition of Felis aircraft weights becomes available I can change this. 4. Although you can skip individual tasks and do the Flight Engineer tasks yourself I'd recommend that if you do use this utility you use it for the whole flight. That avoids any conflict with checklists or procedures which may carry out certain actions at slightly different times. Engine Start is something though that you can do quite happily yourself if you wish, that shouldn't cause any problems.
